Word of the Day: Mise en Place

Mise en place is a French phrase that translates into English as “put in place”. In other words, this is just a fancy schmancy way of saying that you’re setting up your prep work (to cook)! This includes things like mincing your meat, measuring your liquids or julienning your veggies.

P.S. If you don’t know what julienning means, come back tomorrow. 🙂
